Digital Performance Lab was delighted to work with Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council to deliver the Digital Causeway Programme to 306 businesses from November 2019 – March 2023. The programme was developed by Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council in late 2019 to provide local SMEs with the support they needed to embrace digital technology and proved critical to helping businesses adapt in order to survive the impact of Covid-19.
The programme offered a full range of bespoke mentoring support across digital specialisms including social media, search engine optimisation (SEO), website development planning, digital advertising, email marketing, video marketing and more to ultimately drive growth and create new jobs in the area.
In just over 3 years, the Digital Causeway Programme delivered:
- Up to 5 days of bespoke digital mentoring support to 306 businesses
- 8 digital workshops delivered to 209 attendees
- Support which resulted in the projected creation of 319 full-time and 205 part-time jobs within 24 months of programme completion
- Support which resulted in £36,703,148 projected turnover increase within 24 months of programme completion
Sam Conley of Sam Conley Coaching, a participant on the programme said, “I have two personal training studios in Coleraine and Limavady but I also offer online coaching and nutrition advice to clients all over the world, particular the United States. I worked with my mentor, Caeris from Digital Performance Lab, on the programme to conduct some research into the demand for my services in key target markets; ensure my website is optimised to receive enquiries from interested clients; and implement a social advertising strategy to directly reach relevant users across Facebook and Instagram. The support I received was tailored to my business needs and has provided me with an enhanced knowledge and appreciation of digital marketing which I continue to use to grow my business. I am extremely thankful to Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council for providing me support through the programme!”
